You don't have to worry about Microsoft taking over the world, Yahoo is WAY ahead of them! And fucking it up all the way!
I used to be a Community Leader for GeoCities, helping GeoCities members build websites and answering all sorts of questions and having fun. Then Yahoo merged with GeoCities. The CLs were told this was a GOOD thing, that the reason that Yahoo merged with Geo was because of the CL program and they'd make it even better. What a crock of shit. In the first quarter of 2000, they shut down the program. Yeah, right, they bought it because of the CL program. Tell me another lie, Yahoo, and yep, they did.
I have my website at a place called Simplenet, at least that was its name until Yahoo got ahold of it. Unlimited space and unlimited bandwidth for $14.95 a month. Yahoo buys Simplenet and we got shafted to 100 megs and 15 gigs of bandwidth. BUT, they are paying for our domain names. I'm still with Simplenet (Yahoo), but only until I can find another web host that won't cost more than $14.95 a month, WITH a domain name.
Now, Yahoo has gotten ahold of Webring.org, which used to be owned by GeoCities and is now part of the Yahoo "family". Well, they are getting rid of customizable ring fragments, having an UGLY and non-accessible nav bar on each page. Yuck. Moving all my webrings over to RingSurf.
And lastly, Yahoo has merged with Egroups. Now there are ADS at the tops of messages, and they want $60 up front to turn off the ads, not $4.95 like their ads say until you try to sign up. Forget Microsoft. Yahoo is taking over the world! Hey, wonder if the DOJ will sue Yahoo for being a monopoly!

I've had the pump working for a few weeks now and the difference is wonderful! I am in a lot less pain, and I can move a bit better. I start Physical Therapy on Tuesday, twice a week. I hope to get rid of this extra 50 pounds I've gained since last year. *sigh* Also hope to get more walking in so it doesn't hurt so much. We'll have to see.
Because of the pump, I'm taking less pain meds than when it wasn't working, so I feel a lot better, not so drowsy, or drugged up.
