A downward spiral
Things keep getting worse, and worse. We're looking at bankruptcy now. Keith hasn't worked in eight months, and it's not for a lack of trying. He worked for about a month and a half, but the contract was supposed to be nine months to a year, until some admiral got a burr up his ass and decided to break a contract with the company that Keith was working for.
Keith only has 2 weeks of unemployment left, and that wouldn't be so bad, but I just found out that all the money that has been going into the credit cards, from the credit card insurance is counted as INCOME. This means that we'll have to pay tax on this money, and right now, we're going to have to pay tax on Keith's unemployment too. With only my Social Security after Keith gets done with unemployment, we are going to be hurting since my Social Security check pays the mortgage, and we can't ask the IRS for another payment installment plan because we're already on one. *sigh*
